Extension of Yellow River Diversion Project was approved by Development and Reform Commission of Shanxi Province on November 3, 2014. The total cost of the extension is about 150 million Yuan RMB. 

Yellow River Diversion Project, a large-scale interbasin water diversion project, diverts water from Wanjiazhai Reservoir.
